Privacy policy

Effective 2026-07-28

Introduction

Orbit Studio (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws, and establishes and operates the following Privacy Policy to protect users’ personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Gridtopia ("the App"), developed by Orbit Studio (Iltae Kim) ("we", "us"), on both iOS and Android.

  1. Data we collect

Gridtopia has no user accounts, and we do not ourselves collect or store personal information about you. The App does show ads through Google AdMob, and to serve and measure those ads AdMob collects your device’s advertising identifier, coarse (approximate) location, and app activity such as which screens you view and which ads you see or tap. This information is shared with Google and used for advertising and its measurement. It is not linked to your identity, is not used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites without your permission, and we do not sell it. Google’s handling of it is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

  2. Game progress and cloud save

Your game progress and settings are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us. If you are signed in to Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), the App can also save a copy of your progress to your own cloud storage with that service — iCloud for Game Center, Google Drive app storage for Play Games — so you can restore it on another device. That copy belongs to your Apple or Google account and is governed by Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies. We cannot read it and never receive a copy.

  3. Game Center and Google Play Games

If you sign in to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, leaderboards and achievements are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies. We do not receive or store your Game Center or Play Games account information.

  4. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Billing). We do not receive or store your payment information. Their handling of this data is governed by Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies.

  5. Your choices about ads and tracking

Where the law requires it (including the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland), the App shows a Google consent form the first time you play, and you can reopen it any time from Settings → Privacy options to change or withdraw your choice. On iOS, the App asks for your permission before tracking you across other companies’ apps and websites; you can change that answer in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time — on iOS by turning off "Allow Apps to Request to Track", and on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads. If you decline personalised ads, the App still shows ads, but they are chosen without using this information.

  6. Children’s privacy

Gridtopia is a general-audience game. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age at which parental consent is required in their country (13 in the United States, and up to 16 elsewhere). If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will act on it.

  7. Data retention

Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Data stored locally on your device is removed when you delete the App. Cloud saves, leaderboard entries, and purchase records are held by Apple or Google and can be removed through your Game Center or Google Play Games settings. Advertising data collected by AdMob is retained by Google under Google’s own retention policies.

  8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.

  9. Contact us

For any question about this policy or your data, write to us through the support form at https://orbitstudio.works/support.
